Creative Director, Bill Bartolotta

Bill runs ESAM l.l.c., a firm delivering mighty solutions through multiple mediums to individuals, corporations, institutions and public spaces. He provides creative and execution skills for the integration of visual, audio, edible, touchable, aromatic and intergalactic talent into the environment. Bill procures animals, minerals, vegetables, and humans; managing the process and the people. esam is dedicated to dissolving existing and imagined barriers between guests, hosts and entertainment... all in the persistent pursuit of pleasurable activities. 

Bill keeps awake outside of esam as creative consultant for "Kage Konsulting”, creative advisor for "AND entertainment", creative advisor for events and entertainment at the Museum of Contemporary Art, some guy standing by for "Friends of the River" and as an ear for a handful of businesses both large and small. He has designed stages and contributed creative direction to both TedxMidwest and Chicago Ideas Week.

Event Producer, James Goeke

With over 7 years of experience with the private, internal marketing, creative and event firm, ESAM (Equity Strategic Advertising & Marketing), James has mastered the art of event production.  From small, intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, Goeke has managed everything from James Beard-Awarded chefs to top A-List talent.

 A Missouri native, James obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media/Communications from Missouri State University.  Prior to joining ESAM James held an Account Executive position for a corporate identity, website and logo design firm. 

An activist at heart, James is the co-founder of the Junior Auxiliary Board and leads a variety of social, fundraising efforts for the Chicago-based organization, Vital Bridges, which provides essential amenities to Chicagoans living with HIV/AIDS.

Logistics Management, Zack Wilson

Zack is the newest member of the esam team where he arranges vendor coordination and technical logistics during event production. An expert in organization, Zack works to ensure that all of the behind the scenes needs for an event are met no matter how large or small the scale of a production.

Hailing from Northwestern Connecticut, Zack utilizes the skills gained while studying Interior Design at the Illinois Institute of Art to effectively plan and execute the production of an event.

Public Relations, Alex Sabbag

Alex Sabbag is an experienced communications and development professional with 7 years of publicity and production experience.  Her career began at Dig Communications (now Olson) managing accounts for major consumer brands MillerCoors and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.  Consumed with a passion for cause-related initiatives, Alex leveraged her expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to launch AM Consulting in 2010, focusing on both for and not for profit organizations, as well as cause-related marketing programs. 

An Iowa native, Alex received her BA in Communications from DePaul University. Today, Alex’s professional journey seeks to more effectively merge the for-profit and non-profit worlds.  With every project, the goal is to produce communications platforms to better educate constituents about the organization and its mission and promote fundraising programs that will substantially benefit the organization’s bottom line.

Alex serves on several volunteer boards including Fashion Group International Chicago and #100for100 for Alumni for Public Schools.

Contracts and Booking, Karrie Goldberg

Karrie Goldberg is the New York event industry’s best-kept secret.  Her company, Kage Konsulting, has become the one-stop shop for event planners and marketers, representing over 200 one-of-a-kind venues not only in New York, but also Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami.  With high attention on client satisfaction and customer service, Kage and her team use their hospitality and marketing backgrounds as well as a stacked rolodex of industry wide contacts to create effective events at their venues that exceed a brands’ expectations.  Clients range from corporate leaders like American Express and Conde Nast Publications to creative powerhouses like The Black Eyed Peas and Diesel.

In 2008, Goldberg expanded her consulting work by founding the Kagency, a DJ talent representation arm, booking her top-tier talent events across the world from Abu Dhabi to Brazil, and Japan to the White House Congressional Dinners.

Goldberg is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a BBA in accounting and a minor in Japanese.  After living in Tokyo working for Pricewaterhousecooper in tax, audit, new business and marketing Goldberg arrived New York in 2002 and founded Kage Konsulting.  Goldberg also helped create the GINA Network – a professional network for women in the creative industries.  She sits on the board of the Breast Treatment Task Force (BTTF) and frequently serves as a translator for various Japanese media outlets working in New York, when not indulging her most recent obsession - polo.
