The Plaza Project transforms 2 North Riverside into a public art destination with curated experiences that inspire and educate Loop dwellers, locals and visitors alike. An innovative incubator program for artists to deliver their work on a large public stage, opportunities will be granted for the realization of these works gratis to selected individuals and groups.
Artists of every ilk are invited to apply for the opportunity for their installation to be featured on the plaza and each project submitted will be thoughtfully evaluated by the project’s creative entity to ensure an appropriately curated experience. Consideration will include the submitted work’s ability to communicate to the natural boundaries of the Plaza, its 15,000 daily commuters, additional fair-weathered friends and circumstantial passersby with respect to all tenants. |
